Gets the data object held by a defined property of a particular type.

Syntax

public static Object GetPropertyValue(
	this Object targetObject,
	string propertyName
)

targetObject: Type: SystemObject
Object on which the property's data shall be get from.
propertyName: Type: SystemString
Name of the property whose data shall be get from.

Type: Object
Content of the particular property.

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type Object. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
